We are extremely sorry to inform our fans, that due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control, we will unfortunately have to cancel our show in Hamburg on November 10th, 2011.

This will have no influence on any of the other shows on this upcoming tour.

Norwegian symphonic black metal band DIMMU BORGIR are pleased to announce their first ever performances on Irish soil! Confirmed dates are as follows:

28 Nov 11 – Belfast - Spring and Airbrake [BUY TICKETS]

29 Nov 11 – Dublin – Academy [BUY TICKETS]

The shows will be a part of their intimate club tour of the U.K. which now includes the Republic of Ireland. There will be no support band and DIMMU will perform two sets. The first set will be a full album in its entirety as chosen by the fans and the second set will include a variety of DIMMU classics.

Fans from the U.K. and Republic of Ireland can vote for which of the following three albums they’d like to hear played on DIMMU’s official Facebook page.

Norwegian symphonic black metal band DIMMU BORGIR are pleased to announce a very special upcoming tour.

Having last trekked through the U.K. in 2009 with Lamb Of God and Five Finger Death Punch on Metal Hammer U.K.’s “Defenders Of The Faith” tour, DIMMU BORGIR have changed gears and will be performing in eleven small clubs from Brighton to Birmingham to provide fans with the ultimate intimate show experience.

There will be no support band and DIMMU will perform two sets. The first set will be a full album in its entirety as chosen by the fans and the second set will include a variety of DIMMU classics.

DIMMU BORGIR guitarist Silenoz states:

“It feels great to finally announce more U.K. dates! We have not only kept our promise about coming back after playing just one show on our last run, but this time around, we will also do a special 2 hour set. You don’t want to miss this! See you down the pit!”

Symphonic black metal band DIMMU BORGIR will be performing one very exclusive show with a special, never-to-be-repeated set list with 53 members of KORK (the Norwegian Radio Orchestra) and 30 members of the Schola Cantorum Choir, who were musical guests on the Billboard-charting ninth studio album, ABRAHADABRA.

For fans of DIMMU’s Wagnerian-inspired majesty, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Oslo Spektrum in Norway promises to be a momentous once-in-a-lifetime experience, as this is the band’s only confirmed worldwide appearance throughout the summer.

Suomi Finland Perkele!

After a rather quiet and almost pleasant ferry ride from Sweden over to Finland we are now approaching our last few shows on the European leg of the Darkness Reborn Tour, also appropriately dubbed Darkest Reborn Ever after the Prague incident. However, let’s not go into details! Feels pretty weird that this first part of the tour has almost come to an end, it’s been great fun and we have had some really awesome shows and the crowds have been nothing but amazing! Tonight’s sold out show here in Tampere was another proof of that with 1500 devoted fans raging, simply incredible! Playing Finland once again reminds us of why we always keep coming back and why we share a special bond since the very first time we played here – thank you!

Touring with the Enslaved and Sahg guys has been a real pleasure and it makes us proud and content to be around such professional musicians and share the experience but also the fact that both bands kick serious ass every night!

The hot sauce crew is still on the look for the most violent mix of peppers they can find but so far we have all survived the Dragonfire, Black Widow and The Painmaker with a hint of grace – albeit with the most teary eyes, burning lips and sore behinds the following day. We expect they will turn it up a few notches once we hit North American soil, it’s gonna be frightening to be part of and witness how this will end.

We can’t wait for the madness to begin in November, see you soon!

SILENOZ Checks In From European Tour

So, we have now been on the road for several days through Europe, played quite a few shows already and things are starting to settle in pretty well. We have done both headline shows and support for Korn and it’s a great feeling for us being back on stage after a 1 year long hiatus from playing live.

We are not only grateful but also quite impressed by how the new material has been welcomed by our devoted fans! Also the many new faces in the crowd seem to be have their curiosity satisfied.

Day off today on our way to Luxembourg for our very first time playing there tomorrow. We hit Zagreb in Croatia last night and it was great chaos! Our truck got stuck at the border because of an ongoing strike which made for an extremely late show but thanks to our professional hot sauce crew (incl. the local one), patient and understanding fans not to mention great sets from our friends in Triptykon and Noctiferia the night turned out to be what we consider a successful one; with great anticipation – great energies are being released!
